As far as I understand it, no, you still won't be able to use your Steam account to log into the non-Steam version of the game or vice versa. But generally you shouldn't need it: Steam players will still play on the same servers as non-Steam players, only difference is how you log into the game. Nebushard.
The only thing that is shared is the guild chat while you represent the guild. You can try it easily with the typical one man guild. Create your one man guild, gain some influence then guest another server. You will notice that while you are guesting the influence has become zero again.

ow5lkZ. Regarding your question, yes, you can transfer your account server once every 7 days but it will cost you gems. This is all assuming the tier 1 server youâre moving to is open for transfer. You can also look up which servers are tied for WvW and pick one of the lower pop ones. Theyâre tied for months at a time.

Personally, I would probably recommend just choosing a US server as your home server, especially since the EU servers are based in Germany, which would obviously give you some lag. That aside, you will still be able to visit your friends and family on the EU servers even while you are on the US one. GW2 allows you to "guest" on to any other
